The 60th Book Club丨Greensee Running Team prepares for the 2025 New Year Marathon!
Running is the simplest and most practical form of exercise. Have you ever wondered if your running posture is correct? How to reduce physical injuries caused by exercise? What preparations should be made for running? How to help muscles recover and reduce fatigue after running?

The 60th Greensee outdoor reading club was held at the scenic Songya Lake. We specially invited Mr. Gong Yunfeng (Shanren), the "missionary" of Changsha's running circle, the first person in Hunan to win the world's "Six Majors" of marathons, and the general commander of the Greensee New Year Half Marathon, as a guest to give everyone an in-depth explanation of running techniques and strategies.

As a professional runner who has been running injury-free for more than ten years, Mr. Shanren believes that the most important thing about running is not speed and mileage, but injury-free and continuous running on the road. The true spirit of running is to pay more attention to the care and maintenance of the body while enjoying the happiness brought by sports, and to train a strong physique and run out of a healthy self in a more scientific and reasonable way.
Teacher Shanren started with the basic preparations for running, sharing with everyone how to correctly choose the right running shoes and clothing, how to maintain a stable breathing rhythm, a moderate step frequency and a stable stride, and how to choose the appropriate landing method according to personal circumstances. He taught the runners present effective ways to improve running efficiency and prevent sports injuries, and answered everyone's questions about running.


In addition to theory, practice is more important. Under the leadership of Mr. Shanren, the members of the Greensee running team began the warm-up activities before exercise, stretching, jumping, deep breathing... Every movement awakens the body cells. After the warm-up, the Greensee running team officially started the "lake" mode, running 10km around Songya Lake, completing the 2025 New Year's Horse Run preparation check-in.


Running is not just a sport, but also a way of life. It allows us to learn how to find balance in a busy life and add a different color to life through running. Although the Greensee outdoor hot running reading club has ended, the 2025 New Year is coming soon. Let us step onto the most beautiful running track of Songya Lake again, continue to enjoy the fun of sports while running, and meet a better self!
